Frequently asked questions

How much does SchoolPass cost?

SchoolPass doesn't publish prices. One public August 2022 quote to a 7-campus Pennsylvania district listed the Cloud Basic subscription at $1,540 per campus for year 1 on a 3-year term, after discounts, with visitor-management modules and hardware priced separately. Your quote will differ.

Who owns SchoolPass?

Raptor Technologies acquired SchoolPass in April 2023.

Does PickupRoster use license-plate cameras?

No. Staff call cars from the board. RFID vehicle-tag auto-arrival is an optional add-on for Campus and District plans, priced per deployment, and it isn't needed to run the board.

Can PickupRoster replace SchoolPass?

For car line dismissal, dismissal plans and drills, it may. PickupRoster doesn't include visitor management, attendance automation or license-plate recognition, so schools that rely on those would need another tool.

What does PickupRoster cost?

Per school: Car Line is $150 a month or $1,440 a year (up to 400 students), and Campus is $500 a month or $4,800 a year (up to 900 students). District pricing is custom. Annual billing saves 20%.

Can we try PickupRoster before buying?

Yes. The free trial lasts 30 calendar days from signup with no credit card, and every new school gets two free 30-minute intro calls.
